We are deeply involved in the regional P-12 and higher education community. All of our programs have significant outreach initiatives that are beneficial both to our programs and candidates and to the practitioners in the field. These include a professional development school initiative for undergraduate teacher preparation.

The above data represent pass-rate percentages for each of the licensure programs in the Department of Teacher Preparation (DTP). Programs with fewer than five students (i.e., biology, math, foreign language) are not included in this analysis due to the practice of not reporting these low number results by the Educational Testing Service.

Graduates of the elementary education program had over 86% pass rates on all of the content areas.  The four content areas were tested separately.  Secondary content-area results also show reasonably high pass rates.

The overall pass rates for the reported data on Praxis II during 2013-14 are higher than the 80% required for full accreditation (86%, 134/156).
