PUCCO Excels in Lego Competition

A team of Construction Management and Engineering Technologies (CMET) students from Purdue University Calumet participated in the “Lake Michigan Legoland Challenge” as a part of the Northwest Indiana Innovation Expo on April 12th. The expo, which was sponsored by The Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana, was held at the Jean Shepherd Community Center in Hammond.

The PUC CMET students participating were Robert Williams (Homewood, Illinois), Nicolas Waldmarson (Crete, Illinois), Alexander Huber (Hammond, Indiana), and Allissa Blandford (Lowell, Indiana). All four students are leaders in the Purdue University Calumet Construction Organization, a student organization in CMET. The CMET team competed with a team of students from the Valparaiso University College of Engineering.

PUCCO Team completed
