Advisory Math Placement Test Result
Purdue Calumet has partnered with Ivy Tech Community College to provide developmental coursework for students needing brush up in math or English. You tested into the ZIVY Math 015, Fundamentals of Algebra, which is offered by Ivy Tech on the Purdue Calumet campus as a convenience for our students. You will need this course to proceed into MA02100, Beginning Algebra, and the remainder of your math requirements.
Ivy Tech requires the completion of their enrollment forms and agreements, which are available in the Center for Student Achievement Office, Lawshe 122. This paperwork must be completed before you can be registered in ZIVY Math 015. If you are a new student in the Center for Student Achievement, you will receive these forms during New Student Orientation and must complete and turn them in the same day. We will submit the forms to Ivy Tech on your behalf and retain copies in your academic student file.
Once the Center for Student Achievement receives verification of your enrollment from Ivy Tech, our office will enroll you in the class in Purdue Calumet’s system and ZIVY Math 015 will then appear on your Purdue class schedule. Please note that course enrollment in an Ivy Tech math class is not accessible through web registration. Confirmation of your enrollment and an updated class schedule will be mailed to your home address.
Ivy Tech Business Office will mail you a statement and bill. Please do not disregard this letter! Payment in full for ZIVY Math 015 is always the responsibility of the student whether or not you receive financial aid through Purdue Calumet. Failure to settle your financial obligations will result in Ivy Tech withdrawing you from the course.
Questions regarding payment deadlines and account balances should be directed to the Ivy Tech Business Office.
