The Community Partner works very closely with the student and may provide them with following information:
- What the organization does and how it operates
- Safety regulations; parking information; lunch protocol
- Security and confidentiality information
- Acceptable dress and appearance
- Special industry jargon
- Specific work standards and procedures
- Personnel who can answer different types of questions
- How to contact their supervisor/mentor
- Email and internet protocol
- Expectations for the project
