Student Convocation 2009

Goal:
To ensure a successful and well attended student convocation


Audience/Target:
internal audience of students, faculty and staff


Benefit:
helps create a culture promoting community and connections for students for on campus resources. It is also a fun event for students


Strategy:
To communicate benefits for attending this event utilizing various communication channels

emails, dist e, signage, announcements at meetings, webpage, student affairs partnership

3rd annual convocation increased attendance and visibility.


Lessons Learned:
Automated phone calls were not successful. Personal phone calls from students work better
