This position will support the development of research capacity in visualization and transdisciplinary computational science and engineering. The primary responsibility of the Scientific Visualization Developer is to support researchers (faculty, post-docs, staff, students) in developing novel visualizations of research and outreach outputs of human/environmental science interactions for the recently funded 5-year NSF Managing Idaho’s Landscapes for Ecosystem Services (MILES) project. At the end of the grant period, this position will more broadly serve the research community across the Boise State campus in visualization and computations science and engineering.
