The Boy Scouts recently took an educational trip to Purdue Calumet’s Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation (CIVS). While at the center, the Scouts visited the Immersive Theater where they made sure to put on their 3-D glasses and check out the many projects worked on by CIVS graduate students. Their attention was captivated as they viewed 3-D videos of the human spine and brain. This is the second year CIVS has had the pleasure of hosting BSA Troop 276. It is important to CIVS to expose and educate these young adults on the technology available here at Purdue Calumet.
