67th International Congress ABM

Dr. Chenn Zhou speaking in BrazilDr. Chenn Zhou,  Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Director of the Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation, and theInterim Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, had a very productive trip to Brazil this summer sponsored by the Association of Brazilian Metallurgy, Materials, and Minerals (ABM).  She was invited to give a lecture as a guest speaker at the 67th International Congress ABM held in Rio de Janeiro,  Brazil, from July 31 to August 3rd.  Her lecture was entitled “Simulation and Visualization: Keys to Process Optimization”. In addition, she was invited to give a one-day preconference workshop on “Practical Approaches and Application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).”  During her trip, Dr. Zhou was also invited to visit ArcelorMittal Tubarão and gave a talk on the Integration of Simulation and Visualization for Industrial Applications.
