Along with Newton County’s Renewable Energy and the Shared Ethics Advisory Commission, we have also been selected for the Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana for August 2012 in the NWI Times Business edition. The Center has been recognized for its success in advocating economic development, enhancing productivity and energy use and has been applauded for saving the Northwest Indiana industry of more than $30 million using our cutting-edge technology to visualize and simulate real-world practical problems in order to trace a valuable solution. Projects such as the virtual power plant with NIPSCO, the virtual hospital and a virtual design for Gary’s transportation system and airport have also been mentioned.
