Purdue University Calumet’s Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation draws one-hundred and fifty industry and community leaders for the Chancellor’s Breakfast. Attendees heard from industry who are currently using the center’s resources and research and how they have benefited through solutions provided by computational fluid dynamics and 3-D visualization to increase efficiencies and to achieve cost savings. The panelists included ArcelorMittal, NIPSCO, BP, Lazar Anode Technologies, LLC., U.S. Steel Canada, Inc. and economic development experts. Professor Zhou shows how collaboration between industry and Purdue Calumet can benefit the entire region.
