Continuing Lecturer, Ken Bronowski has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Communication from Purdue University Calumet.
Ken served as Video Production Manager for Fortune 250 companies, NIPSCO and Ni Source from 1996 until 2002. He also operated his own media production company in Tampa Florida. Clients included Ni Source, Eckert Drugs, Daytona Speedway, Progress Energy, and Platinum Television and Suzuki. Throughout the 1980’s, Bronowski was a professional musician, recording 2 albums, a film soundtrack segment and numerous singles for IRS/A&M Records. He also toured The USA and Europe, performing with major acts, and is listed in the IMDB as a performer in the Lorimar feature film music documentary, “URGH, A Music War.”
As a visual artist, Ken won an award in video production from The WIC Chicagoland Cable Awards for a short video, and he earned a second place from The Northern Indiana Art Association Salon Show for his abstract oil painting, “Jet Stream and Utility Pole.” He also produced and published a popular DVD on guitar repair, with sales of over four thousand copies worldwide.
Ken stays active in the local music scene as a regular performer of rock, jazz and blues music and by producing numerous original music projects. He is also an active organizer and participator in numerous local not-for-profit charity concerts.
