After serving for ten years as the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Daniel M. Dunn returned to the Department of Communication and Creative Arts as Professor of Communication during the Fall semester of 2010. Dan earned his B.A., M.A., and PhD. at Wayne State University. He has won several teaching awards, including the Amoco Foundation Outstanding Teacher Award and the Central States Communication Association Young Teacher Award. His textbook, Communication: Embracing Difference, published by Allyn and Bacon in 2011, and co-authored with Lisa Goodnight, is in its third edition. He taught in the Management Development Program at Harvard University in 2007.
