The Career Center is now accepting reservations for the Etiquette Lesson and Lunch. The event is scheduled for Friday November 7th from 11:30am-1:30pm in Room With a View (Student Union Library Building) Students can enjoy lunch, network with employers and learn proper manners along the way.
A $10.00 deposit is due at the time of registration and is refundable upon participation in the event. Space is limited, so you must come to The Career Center to register by October 31st to reserve a spot. Don’t miss out on this great networking event. For more information, call 219-989-2600.

Ameristar Casino and Hotel will be conducting an Information Session on September 16th from 5:00pm-6:00pm in the HTM building Room 193!
They will be discussing various job openings currently available in the following areas:
- Cage Cashier
- Food and Beverage
- Table Games
This information session is open to all students, however College of Business/HTM students are encouraged to attend. Please RSVP for the event via CareerTrax.
Interviews will be scheduled for the following day for those interested in employment, September 17th, and will be held in SUL 349. Any student not able to attend interviews on September 17th may have the option to schedule interviews for Thursday September 18th or Friday September 19th at Ameristar Casino and Hotel in East Chicago.

The Career Center’s Drop In Career Advising Hours for the Fall 2014 semester:
Tuesdays @ 10:00am or 2:00pm
Wednesdays @ 12:00 pm
Thursdays @ 9:00 am or 3:00 pm
*Special Evening Hours: First Wednesday of Every Month 4:00pm – 6:00pm will start in September. This session is not offered during Summer or semester breaks.
Sessions are first come, first served! Students must create and bring a resume/cover letter prior to review and must arrive promptly at the specified times above for assistance with the following services:

- Job/Internship Search Strategies
