The application period is now open for the Interns for Indiana Program!
This year we are collaborating with four wonderful companies offering 8 internship opportunities! Internships will take place during the summer. Interns will complete 400 hours and are provided a stipend of $4,500 paid in three increments of $1,500.
- Be a full-time junior or senior at the time of the internship (if you are graduating May 2014, sorry you do not qualify)
- Completing your first bachelor’s degree
- Have a minimum 2.8 GPA
- You must complete the application by 4:30pm, Friday, April 11, 2014 Click here for Application

We will be celebrating National Student Employment Week April 13th-19th, 2014. Student workers make tremendous contributions to the university. On Thursday, April 17th, the Student Employee of the Year and Student Employee Supervisor of the Year winners will be announced at the Reception, open to the entire campus, in YJean Chambers, Student Union and Library, 3rd floor, from 12:30 P. Etiquette Lesson & Lunch
Career Services along with the Hospitality and Tourism Management department will be hosting an Etiquette Lesson and Lunch on April 2, 2014 from 10:15am-1:30pm. Enjoy lunch, network with employers and learn proper manners along the way! A $10 deposit is due at time of registration but will be returned upon complete participation.
The event is broken down into two parts: Etiquette lesson from 10:15-11:45am and the Lunch with employers from 12:00-1:30pm. You MUST attend BOTH the lesson and the lunch to get your deposit back and participate in the event. Space is limited so register by 03/21! Please register for this event by completing the following steps (the first 20 to register will receive a giveaway from Career Services):
Go to www.pucjobs.com and click on the student link
- A new page will open, enter your username and password for the CareerTrax system. If you do not have a username/password or cannot remember this information please contact the Office of Career Services- (219) 989-2600.
- Once in CareerTrax, make sure your resume is up-to-date by scrolling over the “my account” tab and clicking on “my documents”
- Once you have double checked your resume register for the event by clicking on the “career events” tab and then clicking on the “2014 All Majors” link.
- A new page will open, click “register”
You do not have to register to participate in this event. However, by registering you are giving Career Services permission to include you resume in the employer resume books for distribution after the event.
