Purdue University Marketing Association

Purdue University Marketing Association has formed a chapter on the Calumet campus in 2007. PUMA is a nationally recognized chapter of the American Marketing Association. PUMA’s mission is to help students in learning about the career options available to marketing majors, serve as a networking and resume building tool and provide the means to contribute to a community by charitable activities.

Agency 429 (Advertising Club)

Agency 429 - Advertising ClubThis award winning PUC chapter of the American Advertising Federation focuses on providing students rich opportunities to build their resumes and overall brand. Every year students compete in the National Student Advertising Competition, the American Advertising Awards (formerly the ADDY awards), and many more. In the last five years, this student agency has won over 15 local and national awards. In addition, Agency 429 is partners with a variety of local businesses and events that offer internships for students.

econ-clubThe purpose of the Economics Club at Purdue University Calumet is to stand as a student resource for educational and job success, and serve as an approachable forum for economic, business, and public policy discussions. The Club maintains an informational database for scholarships, internships, job opportunities, and contacts. It also sponsors events tailored to students’ requests. Membership in this organization is open to those who are enrolled at Purdue University Calumet. Active members are members who attend at least three meetings and one event per semester.
