Steps for Military Enrollment at Purdue University Calumet

Below are the steps needed to take in order to enroll into Purdue University Calumet and receive qualified benefits:

1. Gather all of your Information, documents

♦ DD214

♦ High School/College Transcripts

♦ Military Training Transcripts

♦ Course Description of all Military Training Transcripts

♦ National Guard/Reserve or Active Duty notify the Battalion Education Officer of the intention of attending school.

2. Complete and file your FAFSA application before March 10th

3. Apply for GI Bill

4. Apply for Purdue University Calumet Admission

5. After you receive your acceptance letter

National Guard reserve or active duty would need to provide the Battalion Education Officer with a copy of   the letter of acceptance

♦Take a copy of all your documents to the Veteran Certifying Official – Angie Casillas ,  Lawshe 130

6. Report to From Boots to Books Program with all documents in hand

Location: Student Union Library Building- Room 335

7. Make an appointment to meet with your Academic Advisor

8. Register for Classes

9. Receive schedule and financial statement for classes

10. Purchase books

11. Attend classes
