Subject: SCI 31500 Environmental Science for Elementary Education
Credits: 3 (Class 2, Lab 2)

Prerequisite: SCI 11200, SCI 11300, and SCI 11400

Description: This project-based course integrates knowledge and skills in physical and biological sciences to develop workable scientific solutions for environmental-related problems in everyday life.  Topics may include, but are not limited to, pollution prevention and control, natural resource conservation and management, human health and wellness.  Although offered primarily for elementary education majors, this course is open to all qualified students.  This course cannot be counted as biology elective credits for a biology degree.
