This course is an introduction of the concepts of wetland ecology and management to graduate and advanced undergraduate students. Topics include, but not limited to wetland ecosystems, hydrology, biogeochemistry, classification, management and restoration. Also examine biological adaptations to the wetland environment, effects of climate change on the structures and functions wetland ecosystems, and legal aspects for wetland identification, delineation and protection.
