Subject: BIOLĀ 41800 Drugs and Disease

Prerequisite: BIOL 24300 or equivalent

Description: This course will cover a basic overview and the treatment of various common diseases in the United States. The physiology related to each disease state will be explored at the molecular and system level in order to understand the mechanism of action of medicinal products utilized in treating the disease. This course will also explore some of the latest advances in drug discovery.
