Heather Rae McCaslin has distinguished herself during her time at Purdue University Calumet in many ways. She has been awarded the Chancellor’s Scholarship, the Jerry Gromer Scholarship, been on the Dean’s list every semester since Fall 2008, a member of the Fall 2008 Honor Program and Vice President, National Residence Hall Honorary in Fall 2012.
The community has also benefited from Heather’s outreach. She was a note-taker for the Office of Disability Resources, helped raise funds for St. Jude’s research as well as the Calumet Humane Society and volunteered at the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. Heather has also participated in blanket drives, shoe drives, canned food drives, and school supply drives for local charities.
