This Certificate is designed for teachers who desire a specialized credential in Infant and Toddler teaching that emphasizes Early Childhood development and practices. This certificate is designed primarily for those who are already working in a zero to three classroom.

The certificate is available to students who have a high school diploma or equivalent and are able to take and pass six academic courses over a two year academic schedule. It could also be used by those who are currently students in Early Childhood. Infant and Toddler Certificate graduates who later wish to pursue degrees at Purdue University Calumet must apply for Degree-Seeking Admission, and will be subject to all Admission criteria in effect at that time.

(Prerequisite: BHS 1xx00, 22800, 2xx00, CDFS 21000)

____CDFS 34000-Teaching Very Young Children with Special Needs-3 credits.
