HAMMOND, Ind.  - Purdue University Calumet announced the 2011-12 inductees of the Athletic Hall of Fame, as the latest class includes former basketball standouts Lynn Hevezi and Tony Vermejan. HAMMOND, Ind. – Purdue University Calumet’s men’s and women’s basketball coaches will be swapping their dress shoes for sneakers during the Peregrines’ CCAC doubleheader with Cardinal Stritch University on Saturday, February 4, in support of Coaches vs. Cancer. The Purdue Calumet women will begin the action with a 1 p.m. tip-off, while the men’s contest will begin immediately following the conclusion of the women’s game with an estimated 3 p.m. start. AKRON, Ind. – Purdue University Calumet women’s basketball coach Tom Megyesi secured the third member of his 2012 recruiting class, as Tippecanoe Valley standout Staci Groom signed a letter of intent on Thursday morning.
