What is AQIP?
Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) is the regional accreditation process through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
Purdue University Calumet has benefitted tremendously from its participation in the Higher Learning Commission’s Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) for accreditation. AQIP meshes beautifully with our campus strategic plan in several important ways.
First, our strategic goals are assessed in accordance with the AQIP methodology, ensuring that we measure our progress and make course corrections when appropriate.
Second, our AQIP project list is drawn from our menu of strategic objectives. As we work on projects we advance our strategic vision. Finally, through the AQIP process, we have the benefit of external eyes on our strategic progress.
The AQIP approach to accreditation has added a dimension of purposefulness to our campus commitment to quality.
