Joshua’s most valued Purdue Calumet experience:
“I am very proud of my graduate and undergraduate experiences at PUC. While most of my friends travelled to Universities downstate, including my current wife, I chose to remain local and work while I was in school.  I believe; one who chooses the more challenging paths will appreciate life’s experiences and accomplishments more.  However, what I value most is the relationships with the faculty that I have created, first as a student and more formally as a colleague.”

Joshua’s advice for current Purdue Calumet students:
“Never place a ceiling on your potential or give up. Each time you fall, you become more experienced and stronger.  Don’t take the easy route, the more difficult path leads to more satisfaction.
Find a good mentor, friend or partner; someone to challenge you, hold you accountable, believe in you and support you.”
