The Sepharadim Journey: A House Key, A Map and a Family Recipe

In this lecture we will follow the Sepharadim to their different destintions in Europe, Africa and Middle East after 1492.  We will talk about tradition and change and the cities where the Spanish Jews re-establish themselves. We will use the works by writers from the 1500’s to the 1700’s. We will also talk about the loss of talent and what it meant for Spain and its development as well as old Sephardic dishes mentioned in the literature of the 1500’s.
