Richard Nixon: The Man in the Arena

Presented by: Richard Rupp, PhD, Professor of Political Science

Perhaps the most enigmatic man to ever occupy the White House, Richard Nixon played a central role in American politics for nearly fifty years.  Despite a career set upon the public stage, Nixon continues to challenge and baffle historians, political scientists, and psychologists.  This course revisits the Nixon years and features guest appearances by Helen Gahagan Douglas, Dwight Eisenhower, Jack Kennedy, Chairman Mao, Sammy Davis Jr., Martha Mitchell, Sam Erwin, Bebe Rebozo, and Dan Aykroyd.
