Back to School Weekend is an exciting event at Purdue Calumet. Back to School Weekend started in the fall of 2010. The event allows alumni, family, and the community to connect, return to the classroom, recognize alumni achievement, interact with current students, and have fun!

Thursday, September 20, 2012; 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Twenty-two alumni—one from each Purdue Calumet academic department—will be recognized for career success and accomplishments. You are invited to take part in the open forum and ask the honorees questions, as well as meet and mingle with them afterward during a networking reception.

Experience intellectual nourishment without the tests! Purdue Alumni Calumet and Purdue University Calumet are pleased to invite you to participate in our Fall 2012 Friday University program. Friday University provides noncredit enrichment courses on Purdue Calumet’s campus for adult learners of all ages. Classes are designed to satisfy a hunger for intellectual nourishment without the pressure of tests and grades, as well as, provide the opportunity to meet faculty and other program participants. There are no educational prerequisites to participate. The $50 registration fee ($90 for both Fridays) includes continental breakfast, one 10am class, lunch, and one 1pm class.
Back to School Saturday

Alumni and friends are invited to campus for a day of fun-filled, family friendly activities. Food, music, games, campus tours, prizes, art, athletics, and more!
