Transfer Scholarships

Purdue University Calumet recognizes student achievement by awarding scholarships to academically talented students. Merit scholarships are available to newly admitted transfer students for the fall and spring semesters, depending on fund availability. Awards are limited to only one transfer scholarship. It cannot be combined with any other transfer scholarship. Each scholarship award is applied to tuition cost, requires full-time enrollment, and restricted to fall and spring semesters only. Applicant must submit official transcripts from all colleges attended for scholarship application to be considered.

Priority consideration date: Fall semester- May 1     Spring semester- November 1

Requirements for all Transfer Scholarships

Applicant must be:

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • directly admitted into an undergraduate program of study at Purdue University Calumet
  • have a completed FAFSA for each academic year of scholarship eligibility
  • a new student to the Purdue system

Online BSN students are not eligible for the admission transfer scholarships

Purdue Calumet Transfer Student Scholarships Application (PDF- all transfer scholarships)

Purdue Calumet Transfer Scholarship (4 semester award)

– $2,000 per year – Indiana resident        – $4,000 per year – Non-Indiana resident

  • Must have completed at least 60 transferable credit hours
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (4 semester award)

– $4,000/year Indiana resident                – $6,500/year Non-Indiana resident

  • Minimum cumulative (GPA) of 3.5
  • Completed at least 60 transferable credit hours
  • PTK member and transferring directly from community college

 Enrollment Incentive Award (4 semester award)

– up to $9,000 per year (covers the difference between out-of-state tuition and tuition for Indiana residents for 30000 and/or 40000 level courses)

  • Must have completed at least 60 transferable credit hours
  • Non-Indiana resident (must maintain non-Indiana residency for award to be renewable)
  • Minimum cumalitive GPA of 3.0 in all previous coursework
  • Must be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours at 30000 or 40000 level per semester; award only applied to 30000 or 40000 level courses

 Pathfinder Scholarship (4 – 7 semester award)

– $1,000 – $4,000/year

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Completed 15 – 60 transferable credit hours
