Transfer Scholarships

Purdue University Calumet offers several transfer scholarships for students transferring from U.S. colleges and universities. Merit scholarships are available to newly admitted transfer students admitted to a degree program for the fall and spring semesters. Award is limited to only one transfer scholarship. Transfer scholarships are renewable.  Details of each transfer scholarship are listed below.

Purdue Calumet Transfer Student Scholarships Application (PDF- all transfer scholarships)

Purdue Calumet Transfer Scholarship*

– $4,000 ($2,000 per year) – Indiana resident

– $8,000 ($4,000 per year) – Non-Indiana resident

  • Awarded to any new transfer student with 60 transferable hours to Purdue University Calumet for a maximum of 2 consecutive years
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Direct admit into program of study at Purdue University Calumet
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with the Enrollment Incentive Award

 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

– $4,000/year Indiana resident

– $6,500/year Non-Indiana resident

  • Minimum cumulative (GPA) of 3.5
  • Completed at least 60 transferable credit hours
  • PTK member and transferring from community college

 Enrollment Incentive Award

– up to $9,000 per year (covers the difference between out-of-state tuition and tuition for Indiana residents for 300 and/or 400 level courses)

  • Awarded to any first time Purdue University Calumet student with 60 transferable hours to Purdue University Calumet for a total of four (4) semesters out of six (6) continuous enrollment semesters, excluding summer and co-op semesters
  • Non-Indiana resident
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in all previous coursework
  • Must be enrolled in 9 credit hours at 300 or 400 level; award only applied to 300 or 400 level courses
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with the Purdue Calumet Transfer Scholarship

 Pathfinder Scholarship

– $1,000 – $4,000/year

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Completed 15 – 60 transferable credit hours
  • Awarded for up to 7 semesters
