Transfer Scholarships

Purdue University Calumet offers several transfer scholarships for students transferring from U.S. colleges and universities. Merit scholarships are available to newly admitted transfer students for the fall and spring semesters. Award is limited to only one transfer scholarship. Transfer scholarships are renewable.  Details of each transfer scholarship are listed below.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

$8,000 ($4,000 per year) – Indiana resident — $13,000 ($6,500 per year) – Non-Indiana resident

  • Student must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa (proof of membership required) and transferring from a community college
  • Awarded to any first time transfer student with at least 60 transferable hours to Purdue University Calumet
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 on all previous college coursework


Enrollment Incentive Award

$6,500 per year (covers the difference between out-of-state tuition and tuition for Indiana residents for 300 and/or 400 level courses)

  •  Awarded to any first time transfer student with at least 60 transferable hours to Purdue University Calumet for a total of four (4) semesters out of six (6) continuous enrollment semesters, excluding summer and co-op semesters
  • Non-Indiana resident
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 on all previous college coursework
  • Must be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours at 300 or 400 level; award only applied to 300 or 400 level courses


Purdue Calumet Transfer Scholarship

$4,000 ($2,000 per year) – Indiana resident — $8,000 ($4,000 per year) – Non-Indiana resident

  • Awarded to any first time transfer student with at least 60 transferable hours to Purdue University Calumet
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 on all previous college coursework

  

Pathfinder Scholarship
$1,000 – $5,000 per year

  • Selection based on holistic review of academic credentials
